Dr. Maggie is a native of North Alabama, born in Pennsylvania, but raised in the small town of Hartselle. She lived in central Alabama for over eight years, but now she and her family enjoy life in “small town America”. The McKelvey family also includes her husband Grant, their three sons Barrett, Bragg, and Brewer and their farm babies.

The McKelvey family is active in their church and community. They enjoy outdoor activities, including hunting, gardening, riding horses, playing with their boys, and traveling when watching college football isn’t keeping their autumn weekends busy!

Dr. Maggie has always been a teacher at heart and thus started this program in 2012. During the week, she practices dentistry full-time at her office in Hartselle (Hartselle Family Dentistry).

Bailey Vachon

Bailey is proud to call Madison, Alabama home, although her childhood included adventures in several places including Elgin, Oklahoma and Dothan, Alabama. She is married to her husband, Jude, and together they share life with their two beloved fur babies. Outside of work, Bailey loves spending quality time with friends and family, traveling to new places, and diving into anything creative or crafty. Her fun, outgoing personality and love for connecting with others make her a great addition to the team!

Stephanie is a former “Military Brat”, so she spent most of her life moving around while her father served in the United States Air Force. His retirement brought them back to their family’s hometown of Falkville, Alabama. She married her husband Trey in 2011 and they now have 3 children: Hannah, Tenley and Wesley. She loves spending her free time with her family, painting, cooking, baking and traveling. She has been a hygienist for 16 years and is passionate about her job. In addition to teaching at North Alabama Dental Assisting Program, Stephanie is a dental hygienist and the office manager at Hartselle Family Dentistry.

Amy Dickey

Amy has been working in dentistry for over 15 years. She likes educating patients and making them feel comfortable during their visit. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her family and camping.

Georgia Hinkle

Georgia was homeschooled and is one of six children. She played Volleyball for 7 years beginning in the 5th grade. She is active in her church youth group. She loves shopping, spending time with friends, and loving her goldendoodle, Lola Mae.

Furthermore, Claire’s compassionate nature is evident in her devotion to her rescued fur babies, reflecting her unwavering love for animals. Driven by a profound passion for dental hygiene, Claire is dedicated to providing unparalleled patient care. With a keen focus on ensuring utmost comfort and satisfaction, she approaches her work with diligence and empathy. Claire’s commitment to her craft underscores her desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others through exemplary dental care.

Phoebe Johnson

Phoebe is originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, and has called Huntsville home since 2019. She currently works as a dental hygienist and brings over five years of experience in the dental field. Outside of dentistry, Phoebe enjoys reading, working on creative art projects, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with her cat, Monty. She is passionate about sharing her love for dentistry with others, and her warm personality and dedication make her a valued part of the team!
