*When an unexpected closure occurs due to extraordinary conditions, such as inclement weather, students will be notified as soon as possible through text message and/or e-mail. Classes will likely be held instead on the day before (Friday) or the day after (Sunday).
Monday through Thursday, students are required to review course material through online lectures and complete assignments in Google Classroom. The majority of exams and assessments take place on Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Class days begin promptly at 8:00 AM and are scheduled to conclude at 1:00 PM. However, to ensure a thorough understanding of each topic, class sessions may occasionally extend beyond the anticipated end time. Each class day begins with any required in-person testing, followed by hands-on clinical instruction in small groups.
A 100-hour internship is required throughout the program. Students are responsible for contacting local dental offices to secure an internship site prior to the first day of class.
